Since 2006

Our Mission

KTTD (The Turkish Association Of Chemical Transport Equipment Cleaners) is an authorised association established to ensure that the waste generated during the cleaning and reuse of tanker-type vehicles, tank containers, IBC tanks and plastic packaging used in road and combined transport is disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. Our mission is to support and encourage our member stations to carry out their operations in line with the national and international standards that fall within our remit. Another part of KTTD's mission is to record every cleaning operation through the use of the Cleaning Certificate / Cleaning Label, which confirms that the cleaned vehicle, equipment or packaging has been cleaned at a licensed station. In summary, our mission as KTTD is to raise awareness among all stakeholders in the sector that the cleaning of vehicles, equipment and packaging must be carried out solely at a licensed station.

Since 2010

Our Vision

KTTD (The Turkish Association Of Chemical Transport Equipment Cleaners) is the sole authorised body in Türkiye that cleaning stations operating in the country may join as members. Through the activities of KTTD and its member cleaning stations, the aim is to create a sustainable working environment based on the requirements of global Environmental, Quality, and Occupational Health & Safety management system procedures, to minimise environmental impacts, to ensure compliance with legal regulation, and to guarantee continuous improvement across all operations. It is likewise one of KTTD's core objectives that the emissions and solid and liquid pollutants generated by cleaning activities are treated and disposed of without harming nature, in line with the principles of environmental sustainability and zero harm. KTTD also represents member stations that hold an SQAS certificate within the European Federation of Tank Cleaning Organisations (EFTCO).

Authorized Organization

On 19.10.2009, KTTD (The Turkish Association Of Chemical Transport Equipment Cleaners) was certified as the Authorised Body.

This Authorisation Certificate was granted to KTTD, pursuant to Article 4 of the Circular Regarding Tanker Cleaning Facilities published in the Official Gazette dated 20.01.2019, No. 27125, with responsibility for providing cleaning stations with the Cleaning Certificate, monitoring these certificates, and submitting the related data to the Ministry. (19.10.2009).
